Lovezone is a dating service where users can create their own profile, look for company and get in touch with other users. A Lovezone user is always responsible for their profile and its content. Lovezone users are bound by Finnish law.
If you notice an inappropriate profile, always report it to the group's moderators. Next to every profile's name there are three dots; clicking them reveals a Report link (flag icon). The form that opens lets you send a message to the moderators. Write a justification explaining why the profile is inappropriate and submit the form with the Send button. When you submit, moderators are notified about the inappropriate profile and it can be removed or otherwise restricted if necessary. In addition to reported profiles, moderators may at their discretion also review other profiles created on the service.
Lovezone's official languages are Finnish, Swedish and English. Writing content in other languages is not allowed.
If a user breaks Lovezone's rules, administration may intervene. Means include setting a writing ban (i.e. a ban) and preventing or removing the nickname. User-generated content on Lovezone is retained in archives according to applicable law.
Lovezone has a duty under applicable law to hand user data over to the police. Data is also handed over for deleted content. Registration data of registered nicknames is also available to authorities in connection with official investigations.
Reports of inappropriate messages go to the group's volunteer moderators. You can recognise them by the shield icon next to their username. Based on user reports, moderators may delete messages and issue temporary or permanent bans in line with Lovezone's rules. Reports are handled daily.
If a user has repeatedly broken the rules, they may be banned — a permanent ban closes off their ability to publish content on the service. Some bans are time-limited; length is case-by-case. Bans aim to protect other users from disruptive behaviour and to keep Lovezone peaceful.
